After a long period of realization of the aircraft and to feed the public breadcrumbs on the design and specifications of the phone, the telephone nothing (1) reached the shelves and the pockets of its first adopters. Google payment problem and a real quick correction
A user of the Lime name has compiled some less than stellar software indicators in a single post in the Reddit R / Android community. On the other hand, several surfaced launch problems imply that the software may require more in -depth tests before the release.
Based on a review of the computers of the German website, the phone has problems with Google Pay which seem mainly coming from a lack of compatibility between the service and nothing of operating system. The phone (1) responds to the resistance with Google Pay, alerting the user that “IHR Gerüt erfüllt Nicht Die sicherheitsstandards” – effectively claiming that the phone does not meet the required safety standards of the application. A phone not meeting the safety standards invites Google Pay to assume that it is rooted or performs unrec certified software. For people who frequently use Google Pay, it is necessarily a nuisance.
Update: again depending on the computers base, this problem was corrected with an update of Nothing OS version 1.1.0.The poster spotted two other recurring problems. Some Reddit users report that their automatic rotation function does not work, which, as Google Pay should be a basic food for any modern smartphone. The so-called “Touching Ghost” is also a problem, which means that pocket dials, with a user, even pointing that their phone automatically composes the emergency number. They also refer to the switching of the camera, and all of this always happens on the most recent update.
Nothing on the phone (1) is still a new product, so bugs and various problems can arise, but hope that the company will be able to follow the media and solve the problems that currently afflict users who have taken a risk and have decided to try a completely new brand.
