It seems that we are having fun with new interesting arrivals on the smartwatch market planned by the launch this year. Samsung is expected to present the Galaxy Watch 5 next month, which could mark its permanent departure from its emblematic rotary telescope. Google, of course, will finally bring its very first smartwatch on the market, with a design that could put the Pixel watch on people’s radars. And then there is the Apple Watch Pro, which could inaugurate the first change in the company’s climb line for a long time. But while this more robust incarnation of the Apple Watch could indeed bring some new things to the table, a predictioner suggests that he can only please a small subset of users and fans of Apple Watch .

The Apple Watch Pro, if it will really be its name, has always been triggered as bigger than any other Apple watch published to date. Mark Gurman de Bloomberg supports this assertion (via 9TO5MAC), saying that his screen will be 7% larger and will have a “fresh look”. But although it notes that it will be the first time that Apple has been introducing a design change in four years (assuming that rumors take place), it will not be the big one that some people expected or hoped.

The legendary Apple Watch variant will certainly not be circular if it was a possibility, at least according to the new report, but it would not have the flat edges that have been deleted since last year. It is said that the model retains the same basic rectangular shape with rounded edges, like any other existing Apple watch. It would be made from titanium, said the journalist, to meet these extra-ray requirements.

Body temperature in blood pressure

As a smartwatch targeting high performance athletes and very active people, this Apple Watch Pro should be equipped with features designed to follow this type of lifestyle. Gurman claims that a new sensor which can monitor the carrier’s body temperature will be present in this sports model as well as in the regular series of Apple Watch 8. The other sensors of the list of wishes of each are however far enough, says the report.

A cuff -free blood pressure monitor will not arrive before 2025, according to its analysis. It has long been the Holy Grail of smart watches, but it turned out to be even more delicate than ECG. Even more distant, however, is the ability to detect glucose levels without taking blood, a technology that may not even be ready until the end of the decade.

As such, Gurman believes that the Apple Watch Pro will only appeal to a very specific group which wants a larger screen on their wrists. One thing that could influence others outside this group to opt for this model is the potentially longer lifespan of the battery, although it could still be a stretch. The Apple Watch Series 8 should also use a processor based on the chip used on the 6 series two years ago, which potentially gives the owners of Apple Watch that is less encouraged to upgrade this year.
