After ignoring the tablet space for more than a decade, Google finally decided to do something about it in 2022. Earlier this year, in March, Google released an Android version called Android 12L specifically designed for tablet -sized devices. The launch of the Android version of this tablet is very significant considering the last release of the company came more than 11 years ago with Android 3.0 Honeycomb. Along with support for large screen tablets, Android 12L has also been optimized for device plants that can be folded at this time.

Google Workspace Experience is more productive
Among the first features introduced in the updated Android 12L version includes the ability to drag and drop content from one application to another. This new feature allows users to click on images (say from Google Chrome), and quite drag to spreadsheet or documents. The drag and drop feature also works on Google Drive where you can now drag and drop files to folders like you on a computer to upload quickly.
Stay with Google Drive, the updated Android 12L version allows users to open two Google Drive windows side by side. This good feature can be very useful for people who often work with Google Drive and need to manage folder content without having to alternate from one folder to another. To activate this feature, the updated Android 12L version is now adding an option that reads “Open in the New Window” to the three -point menu in any file that is stored in Google Drive.
While the previous Android version supports external accessories such as keyboards and mice, its use on Android is very basic, without support for advanced features such as movements and keyboard shortcuts. Effective changes today after Google announced several new keyboard shortcuts that allow users to perform tasks such as Select, Cut, Copy, Paste, Cancel and Redo with Google Workspace. Google claims that the newly supported keyboard shortcut will help users increase their productivity. Google confirms that these new features will be launched to users in the next few weeks.
